Reports
Reports were sent home with students last Friday. We want to acknowledge the sixty Year 10 students who had greater than 90% attendance for the first half of the year. Congratulations also to our students who do attend every day they possibly can, despite some of the challenges and adversity they may be facing.

College Open Days
Well done to all the Year 10 students who participated so well in the College Open Days a few weeks ago. It was great to hear positive reports from college staff about our students’ engagement and participation on these days. These visits were all about students getting used to the college environment, getting a feel for potential subjects and meeting new people. If students wish to have another transition visit, please get in contact with Year 10 staff.

Melbourne Trip
Only 6 weeks to go! Everything is confirmed and booked with only a few final jobs to complete. There will be an opportunity for parents/carers to attend an information evening early next term (that will also be recorded for those unable to be there) to share all pertinent information and answer questions. Until then, please reach out if there is anything you’re concerned about or need to clarify.

Grade Focus

Our aim is for all students to finish the term off strongly by continuing to make positive choices and be responsible for their own learning. The College Open Days in Week 8 gave those who attended a real sense of what college life would be like next year and also may have surprised some students in terms of the maturity and commitment to learning required to succeed in Years 11 & 12. In the second half of this year students will need to make some important choices about their next steps and it is vital that they make these choices fully informed with all the information and pathways available to them.
